Touch screens

Touch Screens allows the introduction of interactive services adding new capabilities to Digital Signage solutions.

In the past Digital Signage was mostly implemented as a one way communication channel.

The arrival of cost -efficient touch screens has allowed the introduction of interactive services. A touch screen is a computer display screen that is also an input device. The screens are sensitive to pressure; a user interacts with the computer by touching video's, pictures or words on the screen.

Examples of implementations of these type of signage solutions are often information kiosks.

Integrations are possible allowing for example the capturing of customer data.

Interactive screens are also used often for corporate communication to display intranets, corporate movies and messages bundled together with weather, traffic and news information.
